English writer Richard Marsh (1857–1915) is most remembered for producing a large body of popular literature in the late 19th and early 20th century. He was born in England as Richard Bernard Heldmann and used the pen name "Richard Marsh" for his writing. When Marsh started writing in the 1880s, he was well known for his ability to write engrossing mysteries, suspense, and otherworldly stories.
